Centro Latino Americano received a $ 25,000 grant to expand its Cambius business program.

The Oregon Community Foundation’s Primary Entrepreneurship Program has donated $ 142,000 to six lane county charities to support entrepreneurs, particularly minority and women-owned businesses, and to contribute to the state’s economic benefits.

A total of 28 Oregon-based nonprofits are receiving $ 580,000 in funding, according to the OSF.

Eugene plans to expand its nonprofit Centro Latino Americano $ 25,000 Cambius business program to Latino business owners, focusing on financial expertise, covering all areas of business development and management and assisting customers with final business plans. The money will give the class more time to support a new teaching space, said Marissa Zarate, co-director.
